Christian poem - M.S.Lowndes
Increase our faith so we may see
What you’re doing in our lives
And all that we’ll accomplish in you
So our faith begins to rise
We need to be reminded Lord
Of the small mustard seed
And how the same amount of faith
Moves mountains if we believe
As we walk in pure obedience
With confidence in you
Our faith begins to grow and flourish
Bearing more abundant fruit
We must go beyond the limits
Of our comfort zones
Our faith is activated at those times
When we walk into the unknown
For it’s when the safety net is gone
We realize we need our Lord
When there’s nothing left to fall back on
We must lean on God much more
And faith is released in our hearts
As we bend our knee to pray
We shall be strengthened as we walk
And commit to Him each day.
We Are God's Work
Love christian poems by Chris Jourdan
I love you, straight from my heart,
I don't want us to ever be apart,
Though I am far away,
My presence will never fade,
We'll always be together under this blue sky,
We are meant to be together, you and I,
Our time together is so great,
We were brought together by something stronger than fate,
We were brought together because God showed us the way,
He brought us to each other,
And not one word did he have to say,
His work is much more powerful than words,
He knows as well as I do,
You and I, were meant to be.
ABIDE With Me
ABIDE with me! fast falls the eventide,
The darkness deepens: Lord, with me abide!
When other helpers fail, and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O, abide with me!
Swift to its close ebbs out life’s little day;
Earth’s joys grow dim, its glories pass away;
Change and decay in all around I see:
O thou who changest not, abide with me!
Not a brief glance I beg, a passing word;
But, as thou dwell’st with thy disciples, Lord,
Familiar, condescending, patient, free,
Come, not to sojourn, but abide with me!
Come not in terrors, as the King of kings;
But kind and good, with healing in thy wings;
Tears for all woes, a heart for every plea;
Come, Friend of sinners, and thus ’bide with me!
Thou on my head in early youth didst smile;
And, though rebellious and perverse meanwhile,
Thou hast not left me, oft as I left thee;
On to the close, O Lord, abide with me!
Can You See God's Love
christian by poetry Geri Mooren
Can you see God's beauty,
Can you see His love shine,
In everything around you,
Just look at all the magnificent signs.
It is in each individual snowflake,
That drifts so gracefully to the ground.
You can see His love so vividly,
In each delicate flower petal found.
You can see His love twinkle brightly,
In the stars so strategically placed.
You can see it in the brightness of the sun,
As you feel its warmth caressing your face.
You can see His love as the grass turns green,
As the rains shower down from the sky,
As the squirrels chase each other up a tree,
As the birds so gracefully fly.
You can see His love in a mother and child,
As they share a loving embrace.
But it is easiest to see His undying love,
When you gaze at the cross and see Jesus' face.
Psonnets of Worship God Calls Me Again
Christian poets - Michael Rew
The serpent offers me the world in vain,
for less than thirty shekels was my toll,
far less than pottage served in Esau's bowl,
and latchets of the shoes tied in the plain
of Sodom and Gomorrah would be gain
compared to what I measured for my soul,
to blot my name out of the Living Scroll.
But it is written. God calls me again.
Three times I may deny You. Three times, call,
for seven times the silver must be tried,
and seven times this righteous man will fall,
yet rise again and live, though crucified,
so sins in one point I have sinned in all
are seventy times seven times denied.
